MEDITRADE spol. s r. o. was founded in 1991 by Mr. Pavol Bohdal. When the company started 34 years ago, it had three employees.
Today, it has an established position on the European market and is one of the leaders in the distribution of special medical supplies. It employs 75 people in four countries: Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Poland, and Ukraine.

Responsibility is the foundation of our work – we have implemented internal compliance policies that apply to all employees in all branches and reflect the principles of our company, our partners, and the MedTech field.
What makes us unique is our flexibility – the ability to quickly adapt to new situations and market demands.
Our ambition is to be a leader in the introduction of new technologies in healthcare, particularly in the fields of robotics, digitalization, and artificial intelligence, thereby supporting modernization and innovation in healthcare.

Over more than three decades, MEDITRADE has grown from a small local company into a major international distributor of specialized medical supplies. Our milestones show the key moments that have shaped our position as a leader in medical technology and strengthened our partnerships in Slovakia and abroad.

Our mission is to improve the quality of life of patients and the working environment of doctors and all healthcare personnel through the distribution of high-quality modern equipment, expert advice, and flexible response to market demands. We also fulfill this task through the Quality System, which we obtained in 2005. The quality system certificate was issued by the certification company BVQI Slovakia, s. r. o. (since December 2006, the certification company has changed its name to Bureau Veritas Certification) in the following areas of activity:

• business activities in the field of healthcare,
• purchase and sale of special medical devices, especially for cardiac surgery and cardiology,
• provision of professional and methodological consulting and services in this field.

Currently, the Quality Management System is implemented in all branches of the company and is recertified annually with the expectation of continuous maintenance of the management system.
